Thanksgiving Challenge: Day 2
/
It's fun, this looking for thankful things. Today I was keeping an eye out, observing, listing possibilities in my head. Nothing seemed to pop out at me until . . .
"Hey Mom, I'm going to Target." She grabbed her keys from the dish on the counter.
I jumped up from the couch where I had just nestled myself in for a nap, grabbed my purse, and said, "Let's go! You're driving."
I'm thankful today for unexpected and very rare time alone with my middle girl--the one who just sent off her college applications and will be leaving me much too soon.
And you? What made you stop and give thanks today?
